Far from the culturally saturated capital and cities, we are launching a project aiming to promote travel, cultural events, agriculture projects and more developments starting from here in Ras Shetan, El-Malha area and other nearby attractions along the coastline between Taba and Nuweiba, We promise you a serious fun project!
Activities running within the project will be executed by means of voluntary collaborative work, offering participants - "the team-work" - an opportunity to explore more amazing spots, and gain valuable knowledge about The Gulf of Aqaba coastline, deserts, canyons, local culture and history.

*Project Targets
Build ConnectionsThe team efforts should be focusing on gathering experiences and knowledge from everywhere to the advantage of local inhabitants, the people of Nuweiba, through group activities such as music events, eco-tourism, team building, agriculture, arts workshops, seeking local economy development and cultural exchange. Emerging people coming from all disciplines and cultures
Establish a Creative Hub
The team will be responsible for designing and developing a year-long residency program to attract more established regional and international creative individuals and groups in the fields of arts, music, ecology and researching talents among the local inhabitants, especially young talents.
Every team member will have the chance to present her/his idea, and Zwada will support it by allocating the perfect space and subsidize startups.
Develop "eco-friendly" Local Economy
The team will help establish a productive community, communicating with NGO's and sponsors. A self-sufficient community is our main target to achieve. The project aims to research and study potential business opportunities for everyone to start a new career/business here in Nuweiba. All future activities/projects will also consider the clean environment that we blessed with and nature reserves around.

Zwada does not have a governmental or private support, hence, we can't offer grants for the time being. However, we would offer the usage of the entire camp's facilities, spaces and other amazing spots around where many creative ideas can be set up and managed.

What comes next? : Team Selection and Orientation Trip:
Some of the team members will participate in implementing our first big event in April 2014. However, the whole team will work together for other intermediate and long term developments.Interested!

Application deadline: 19th of January 2014
The deadline to recieve application emails is 19th of January 2014
Meeting in Cairo: 24 - 28th of January 2014
The tasks/assignments for each team member with the time-frames will be during interview from 24-28th of January 2014.
For international participants: Interview via skype during same dates.
Orientation Trip: 6th – 10th of February 2014
Zwada will arrange transportation for the final selected team members from Cairo and Sharm el-Sheikh to Ras Shetan on 6th February 2014.
The orientation trip and project plan presentation will take place from 6th – 10th of February 2014 at Zwada Nuweiba Camp and other nearby attractions.
